I've officially dropped a full ten pounds!! Woohoo! I was so thrilled to step on the scale at my meeting last night and see another loss! What a great feeling. Another cool bonus has been going down in a shirt size. I bought a shirt in Large instead of XL the other day, thinking I would hopefully make it work, and it did! There is nothing like buying new clothes to make you feel great! Go Supergirl!

I saw this on Rachael Ray (Do you watch her? She's fun!). There was a woman on there who had been trying to lose a large amount of weight (over 100 lbs) and she had been super successful by asking her friends to sponsor her, pound by pound, until she had reached her goal weight. The moment I saw that, I was struck by what a wonderful idea it was. We've been sending out all these emails to get to know one another and one thing that came through was our mutual desire to lose weight and be more comfortable in our own bodies. My husband and I had discussed possibly entering into contests with one another, but I personally know my competitive side would have me rooting AGAINST my friends instead of FOR them.
